ABOUT BRIGHTER FUTURE SERVICES
Brighter future is a company aiming to encompass the needs of our communities. The founder, John Forbes, has a vision of being able to work together with community stakeholders to educate and empower everyone that encounters these services. We want to provide a healing process for healthy and abundant families. Our programs reach for those who feel they have no hope and nowhere to turn that need some guidance to get back on their feet.
Our goal is to provide an array of comprehensive services designed to strengthen individuals and entire families residing in the Greater Los Angeles area. Working together with our community stakeholders, we would like to implement human resources and agency-wide policies and procedures.
Brighter Future services was created to work within communities to strengthen families. Brighter Future would like to be part of contributing to change in different areas such as education, support, linkages, mentoring, advocacy, and permanency for young adults. Currently, the agency is providing CPR/First Aid Certifications, Opioid Education, HIV 101, PrEP & PEP, Hepatitis C and STI Trainings. However, the agency is planning on expanding to encompass the growing needs in our communities.

Founder, & CEO John Forbes has worked in the HIV and foster care system for 26 years. This includes working with with high-risk individuals and pouring into underserved and impoverished communities. He is also passionate about educating the community on prevention and providing other family resources.
Mr. Forbes is bilingual, and bi-cultural and aims to reach the underserved communities. He stays involved with foster youth and provides training and mentoring. He conducts trainings for Resource Parents through a non-profit organization. He is also involved with a homeless organization that assist the homeless in rehabilitation, employment resources, and permanent housing.
Mr. Forbes mission is to be able to serve and provide an array of services needed in the greater Los Angeles area by providing education and other vital resources. His goal is to expand and build centers for the LGBTQ+ community with specific services for youth and adults in cities where there are currently no services provided.
Mr. Forbes hopes to touch as many lives as possible and hopes to be able to provide stability, peace, strength, and love through the process.
